This video is amazing and extremely beautiful. Notice the baby bat under the mother's wing as she's flying!

Save Our Pollinators Public Forum

The Bee Informed Committee of the Bristol County Beekeepers Association is holding a Save Our Pollinators II Community Forum at  the Gilbert Hall Auditorium of Bristol County Agricultural High School, 135 Center Street in Dighton on Friday,  April 17th from 7 to 9 PM. The event is free to attend and open to the public. The forum will feature a short film, “The Beauty of Pollination” by filmmaker Louie Schwartzberg and presentations by a panel of experts in the fields of entomology, beekeeping, horticulture, landscape design, and local bee friendly plants and shrubs. The public will be invited to pose their questions to the panel and discuss threats to pollinators following the film and presentation. Methods and strategies for reducing risks to pollinators, providing habitat and forage, and preventing further decline of the pollinators which are vital to the production of much of our food will be presented and discussed.
